	Work experience outside of Visual Arts
	From 1987 to 1997 I worked as Executive Director of the Fondation de l’Opéra de Québec. I handled public relations, relations with the Board of Directors, fundraising, the introduction of events to look for new clients for the middle of the opera and relations with other cultural groups there Ville de Québec, with whom I founded the Prix d’Excellence de la Culture of Ville de Québec. Since 1989 I own Thérèse Fortin Inc., the company that sells my paintings on the international market. Recently in the municipal election of 2013, I was elected city councilor Saint-Félix d'Otis and I held this position with pride and enthusiasm.
